Come to your Blissful Retreat in Morganton, right in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, where every season brings its own special touch. In the summer, enjoy the deep green forests full of tall oaks and pines. When fall comes around, the leaves turn into a stunning mix of red, orange, and yellow that looks amazing against the clear blue sky. As the day turns into night, listen to the peaceful sounds of nature and watch the fireflies light up the evening.
Step inside and feel like you're in a fancy treehouse, thanks to the big windows and all the natural stuff we've used to decorate. But what's really cool about your Blissful Retreat is all the fun family spots. Hang out by the fire pit, eat outside under the stars, or have a great time with movies and games. It's all set up for making the best memories with your family right here in Morganton, in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Blissful Retreat has big, comfy spaces inside that are great for families of all ages or a bunch of friends. The living room feels super cozy with its log cabin look, stone touches, and beautiful views. Downstairs, there's a fun game room with air hockey, shuffleboard, and a huge 75” Smart TV for movie nights. The kitchen and dining area are open and inviting, mixing modern stuff with a cozy, rustic vibe. It's the perfect spot for everyone to gather, eat together, and enjoy each other.

Guests have full access to both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the property, but swimming is prohibited in the nearby pond. Access to the property from the driveway involves ascending a set of four stairs, with staircases leading to both the upper floor and basement.

The King suite is a cozy escape with a warm fireplace, a 52” Smart TV for relaxing, and a comfy workspace. Its luxurious bathroom features a spacious tub with a spot for your book and wine, perfect for unwinding after a fun day.
The Loft is a dreamy spot for kids and anyone young at heart, offering breathtaking forest views through its big windows, feeling just like a treehouse. It has snug Twin beds and a cool hanging queen bed, plus loads of toys and games for endless fun.
On the first floor, there's an extra King bedroom with its own bathroom, right next to the handy laundry facilities. It's a cozy and convenient spot for extra comfort and ease during your stay.

Imagine stepping onto our big, cozy deck that wraps all around the house. Here, you can sip your morning coffee or watch the rain fall while staying dry and comfy on our outdoor seats. It's the best spot to see the trees and sky change with the seasons. In summer, enjoy the view of tall green trees and soft ferns, and maybe even spot some fireflies twinkling around the pond. Come fall, the forest turns into a beautiful quilt of reds and yellows under the clear, cool air. And guess what? You can grill your favorite meals outside and eat them right there in the fresh air.
There's so much more fun waiting for you outside. Why take the stairs when you can zoom down a slide right into the forest? That's right, we have a slide! It's the perfect start to an afternoon or evening of adventure, like making s'mores at the Fire Pit or going on an Owl-themed Scavenger Hunt. We have swings under the deck and chair swings too, making it a great place to just "hang" out. Plus, we've got portable hammocks for you to find your perfect cozy spot, maybe near the trees or by our little stream.
For the explorers, there are hiking trails starting right from our backyard. And keep your eyes peeled—you might even spot Big Foot!
And for the perfect end to your day, our hidden Hot Tub is surrounded by trees, feeling just like a natural hot spring. It's the best place to relax after a day of hiking, or playing in the nearby rivers and lakes. Come experience the magic of Blissful Retreat!

Our family has visited the Blue Ridge Mountains for summer vacation for many years and we've always dreamed of owning our own little piece of paradise in the area!
Blissful Burrow is that dream come to life. We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful place for a family getaway. We love relaxing on the porch while watching the trees sway and just listen to nature around us. The location is perfect for being remote yet close enough to area attractions!
The home is just a drive to many local waterfalls, hiking trails, shopping in Blue Ridge and river activities. We're excited to make plenty more family memories and are happy to be able to offer Blissful Burrow for you to make memories in as well.
